     Iván Francisco Villazón Aponte, was born in Valledupar, on October 25, 1959, son of Crispin Villazón Aponte and Clara Lopez. Their studies began in his city and ended in Bogotá.  he enrolled in the Externado university of Colombia to study law, he abandoned career in 1984, after four years of effort, all for the call of music. He did it to record, wiht  Fello Gomez, their first album. Thus arose the first impact, the rainbow, the theme of master Rafael Escalona Villazón,  still sings in all his concerts and he considers his best presentation. Besides singing masterfully, plays the  guacharaca and box.
