Strawberry cake





Ingredients: (for 8 people)

* 175 g of sugar
* 100 g of flour
* 4 eggs
* ½ tablespoon of Royal
* 1 jar of strawberry jam
* 30 g of butter
* 1 pinch of salt



Preparation:

Separate the yolks from the whites of the eggs. Pour the sugar over the egg yolks. Mix well until mixture turns white and creamy. Add the flour and jam of  strawberry, and keep mixing until it is homogeneous.

Take a pinch of salt to egg whites to stiff peaks, mix with electric mixer. Incorporate the egg whites to the mixture with a wooden spatula. Wash the plate from the oven, dry thoroughly and then greased with butter. Preheat oven to 210 ° C. Pour the dough onto greased plate. Extend it to cover the entire plate.

Bake for 10 minutes. Do not let it overcook. strawberry rolltastes best if the dough is not dry

Sprinkle sugar on the table very clean. Flip the plate to loosen cake on sugar. Cover the entire surface of cake with strawberry jam. Then roll up the cake a little tight but not too much to keep out the jam.

Present the cake on a plate and decorate with some crystallized fruit or "marron glacé".
